Tasting Notes
The 2018 Fitz Brut is made using traditional methods from
100% estate grown grapes from Greata Ranch Vineyard.
Predominantly Chardonnay backed with Pinot Noir and
Meunier. The Fitz Brut is normally aged in bottle for a minimum
of 24 months on lees, however the 2018 Brut has aged in bottle
for a minimum of 36 months of lees.
Aromatics of Asian pear with lemon peel and a hint of brioche.
Fine steady bubbles with a palate of crunchy stonefruit and
crisp red apple acidity that brings depth and body. A nice
balance of bright acidity and sweetness that holds a focused
refreshing length.
